Казанский вокзал

Station operates since 1862. Before 1894 it had the name "Ryazanskiy Station" and in 1864 it was aimed to serve Kazan direction. Building of the station was erected by the architect Shchusev in the neo-Russian style. Kazansky railway station is a complicated composition which symmetry was deliberately broken and its different-sized structures are connected to each other. Long-distance trains and local ones depart from the station in two directions - to Murom City (east direction) and Ryazan City (southeast direction). Kazansky railway station is located on Komsomolskaya Square (Square of Three stations).
